I’m Meg, an equine photographer dedicated to capturing the power, elegance, and individuality of horses. I combine technical precision with a genuine understanding of the equestrian world to produce professional, high-quality images that stand out.

I have been passionate about photography since the age of eight and have spent the past year working professionally with clients across events, shows, and private sessions. Whether it’s action shots in the arena, portraits at the yard, or natural moments out on a hack, I approach every shoot with attention to detail and respect for the horse and rider.

As a lifelong rider myself, I know the connection between horse and human cannot be staged. My goal is to capture it authentically, creating images that reflect your partnership at its best.

  • I’m based in Monmouthshire and regularly cover South Wales, Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, and the Cotswolds. Travel within 15 miles is included in session prices, with a small mileage fee beyond that.

  • Images are typically delivered within 3–4 days of your session

  • This heavily depends on the type of session, but you’ll receive a curated selection of professionally edited, high-quality images. Usually this will be between 15 and 45.

  • Yes. Please mention how many horses or riders you’d like included when booking so I can plan the time accordingly.

  • Absolutely! I love seeing your photos shared; just please credit Rose Photography when posting.

  • If the weather makes shooting impossible or unsafe, we’ll reschedule at no extra cost.
